Mapa de Capacidades
VIA-SKA is the name of the Project that was led by the Institute of Astrophysics of Andalusia (IAA-CSIC) to study the viability of the Spanish industrial participation in the SKA. This project was funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation (MICINN) and included researchers and engineers from the National Geographic Institute (IGN), University of Granada (UGR), University of Barcelona (UB), Carlos III University of Madrid (UC3M) , Institute of Physics of Cantabria (IFCA-CSIC), University of Cantabria (UC), University of Valencia (UV), Center for Astrobiology (CAB-INTA / CSIC) and Instituto Astrofísico de Canarias (IAC).
VIA-SKA (AIC-A-2011-0658) was financed as an action of the Subprogramme of Actions Relating to International Scientific Infrastructures (National Program for the Internationalization of R & D, Call 2011).
As part of the actions of the VIA-SKA project, the Spanish industry was contacted to identify the actors that could have technological profiles relevant to the SKA project with the intention of involving the Spanish industry and identifying companies interested in participating in the project.
The following form allows to obtain in a simple way the list of public and / or private organizations registered in VIA-SKA that have expressed their interest in a particular work group and / or that could provide a certain capacity or experience. This map of capabilities was made in 2012 within the framework of the VIA-SKA project.
The list of working groups takes into account the work packages defined by the SKA project office at that time for the first phase of the project.
The list of knowledge domains includes all the capabilities that could be required to carry out the different Work Groups of phase 1 of the SKA.
Each organization registered on the VIA-SKA web portal has identified their interest in different work packages and their technical capabilities, providing a general description of the projects they have previously carried out. All the information provided has been reviewed before being registered on the web. This form facilitates access to registered data, filtering organizations by working group and / or knowledge areas, to quickly map the capacities of registered centers and companies.
The capacity map was finalized in 2012, and since then companies that have requested it have been incorporated into it. If you want a company to be included in it, do not hesitate to contact us .
